Hostinger VPS for OpenClaw, Hostinger Managed OpenClaw and OneClickClaw

Hostinger pages read on

Hostinger offers OpenClaw in two ways: a VPS with a one-click OpenClaw template, and a managed app plan called Managed OpenClaw. OneClickClaw is a third option, a managed dedicated server in the EU. This page puts the three side by side, using what each company states on its own pages, so you can pick the one that fits how much of the server you want to run yourself. We are one of the three.

Three ways to run OpenClaw

Hostinger VPS with the OpenClaw template

A virtual server with full root access and a one-click Docker template. You run the server, Docker and the update schedule. It fits people who already work with Linux and want the most control.

Hostinger Managed OpenClaw

An app plan where Hostinger runs the infrastructure and updates, with AI credits available in the same subscription. Hostinger's support page says it is rolling out by region.

OneClickClaw

A whole dedicated server per customer in Denmark (EU), with OpenClaw or Hermes Agent installed, secured, updated and monitored for you, and a free trial with no card.

What a manual OpenClaw install on a VPS involves

Hostinger's tutorial on setting up OpenClaw, updated on 15 September 2026, also covers a manual install: cloning the OpenClaw repository onto a VPS and running it with Docker Compose. For that path it lists the ongoing work. In short, the owner of the server takes care of:

  • reading the container logs when the agent stops answering;
  • pulling new OpenClaw versions and restarting the containers;
  • watching uptime, since the agent answers through chat apps;
  • keeping an eye on CPU, memory and disk, and resizing the server when needed;
  • backing up the configuration and keeping the server secure.

The one-click template takes part of this off the list, with one-click updates, weekly backups and monitoring on Hostinger's side. For people who enjoy server work, the VPS route gives the most control. For people who want the agent and leave the server to someone else, both managed options above take this list off your desk. Our own list of the server work, item by item, is on how to host OpenClaw without Docker or a terminal, and the security side is in the OpenClaw VPS security checklist.

Which one fits you

Hostinger VPS with the template
You are comfortable with SSH and Docker, you want root access, and you plan to run other projects on the same server.
Hostinger Managed OpenClaw
You want one plan that bundles the app with AI credits, and the option to switch between OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, n8n and Paperclip.
OneClickClaw
You want a whole server of your own in the EU, managed end to end, with your own AI keys or subscription, and a free trial before you pay. The full spec is on managed OpenClaw VPS hosting and, for Hermes, on Hermes Agent VPS hosting.

Hostinger and OpenClaw: common questions

Does Hostinger have a one-click OpenClaw install?
Yes. On 5 October 2026 Hostinger's OpenClaw page offered OpenClaw as a one-click Docker template on its KVM VPS plans, with a Docker manager, quick access to container logs and one-click updates. The same page lists firewall, DDoS protection and weekly backups.
Is OpenClaw on a Hostinger VPS managed for you?
Hostinger sells two routes. On the VPS route you get full root access and you run the server: the OpenClaw template page lists one-click updates, automatic weekly backups, a firewall, DDoS protection and continuous monitoring, and Hostinger's tutorial says this path leaves you in control of Docker and the update process. For a manual install from the OpenClaw repository, the same tutorial lists logs, uptime checks, performance monitoring, configuration backups and server security as the owner's work. Hostinger Managed OpenClaw is the second route: its support page says Hostinger handles backend security and automatic software updates, and the agent runs in a dedicated Docker container.
Can I run Hermes Agent on Hostinger?
Yes, on both routes. On 5 October 2026 Hostinger listed a separate one-click Hermes Agent template on the same VPS plans, and its support page says a Managed OpenClaw plan also includes Hermes Agent, with a switch between the two apps in the dashboard. OneClickClaw hosts OpenClaw and Hermes Agent too, at identical prices.
Where does OneClickClaw run my agent?
On a dedicated, single-tenant VPS in Denmark (EU) on Webdock infrastructure, one server per customer. OpenClaw or Hermes Agent is installed, secured and kept updated for you, with a snapshot before each update, and key-only SSH is available as a free opt-in.
How do I move an OpenClaw agent from a Hostinger VPS to OneClickClaw?
Copy your agent's persona, memory files and any skills you wrote out of the OpenClaw workspace on the VPS, and keep your Telegram, WhatsApp or Discord bot tokens. Start a OneClickClaw server, add your AI key or subscription, paste the persona, copy the files over SSH if you use it, and reconnect the same bot tokens in Settings > Channels. Your users keep the same bot.
